The Weekly Photo Challenge is Close Up. I wandered around my house today shooting close-ups of eyes.
Queenie says, “I see it is an in-my-face kind of day.”
Cappy says, “Oh just let me close my eyes and sleep.”
My collection of Nicaraguan masks are always watching.
My stained glass egret has a twinkle in his eye this morning.
This Pre-Columbian eye has seen many things in its 2,000 year existence.
How about this Pre-Columbian bloodshot eye? 2,000 years of drinking too much homemade Chicha?
The carved and painted turtle from the Solentiname Islands is an expressive fellow.
My carved balsa wood fish from the Solentiname Islands appears a little apprehensive about my close up.
The soapstone fat lady from Esteli, Nicaragua bares it all.
What do you spy close up today?
The eyes have it and you came, you saw, and you photographed them! 🙂

Haha! Right, Janet. Taking a selfie of my eye was the most difficult part. I came, I saw, and I conquered that shot.
I really enjoyed your interpretation of this week’s theme, Debbie. It was a glimpse of a different way of life, its history and culture – through your eyes.
Thanks, Jill. Glad you enjoyed my photo challenge.
Excellent collection!
Thanks, Sue. Someday, I am going to post a story about all my Nicaraguan masks…not just the eyes. 🙂
