The Weekly Photo Challenge is Shadowed.
I am constantly amazed at the variety of shadows cast over Volcano Concepcion. The first one is a full moon casting shadows over the lake. I love moon shadows!
The second photo is of cloud shadows on Vulcan Concepcion.
Wow, I love both of those. Beautiful.
Thanks, Mary.
Debbie-
Interesting to see the volcano shadowed on both sides… Water view and jungle view. Nice photography.

Sometimes I forget that we have an active volcano in our backyard, until my photos remind me. lol I’m glad you enjoyed the photos.
The first photo is simple yet really striking,
Wow these photos are spectacular Debbie especially the second one!!!!
Thanks, Nicole. I took the second photo from my backyard. The other night, I tried to capture the full moon rising over the volcano, but the dark clouds were passing over the moon and I couldn’t get a good photo.
They are both amazing!
Thanks, Kris. I’m following in your footsteps and trying to get a daily shot of Concepcion. She is always changing her ropas. 🙂
They are both awesome!
So glad you enjoyed my photos. Thanks for visiting.
I love that first one. The slightly out-of-focus feel to is is wonderful.

Janet, I took that photo with my phone and it was difficult to get a clear shot, so I like the out of focus look, too. Thanks.
So beautiful! I rarely comment on peoples’ photo challenge posts, but these both are extraodinary landscapes, well-captured. Thank you!
You are so kind. Thank you for the nice compliments, Shoreacres.
