For The Weekly Photo Challenge: This week, we want to see photos that focus on one thing. Here is my interpretation of “On the First Day of Christmas” Nicaraguan style. Instead of “On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a partridge in a pear tree: “On the first day of Christmas Nicaragua gave to me….
Happy holidays to everyone.
lovely shots 🙂 the last one made me laugh. happy holidays! 🙂
Beautiful list of tropical birds ( except the last one)…
Loved the photos!
Great birds! The pink chicken though? LOL
I know. It pecked around our house for a long time, then one day we found it dead under the mango tree. It had been killed by a falling mango. 😦
Very clever. Some birds I don’t recognize at all…thanks to the tropical setting. The last picture is totally unexpected. Happy holidays. 🙂
Lynne, one day we were going to make chicken soup. We bought a package of chicken, but we couldn’t see what parts were inside the bag because it was a white plastic bag. Surprise…only chicken heads and chicken feet.
Now, the question is…Did you cook it and was it the best soup you ever had? Tell the truth. 🙂
Truth is…we cooked it and gave it to the poor dogs in the neighborhood. With only heads and feet, there wasn’t much meat, but the dogs had a feast. lol
I was just getting ready to say I loved them all…and then I came to that last one and had to laugh. But a chicken in the pot is a good thing. Have a wonderful Christmas.
janet
Janet, every one should have a chicken in a pot! 🙂
Love your tropical twist on Christmas!
Haha! It was fun to write and find pictures to go with it.
