Weekly Photo Challenge: Layers of Lava

Ometepe Island, Nicaragua has two majestic volcanoes…Concepcion, the active volcano and Maderas, the dormant volcano.  Layers of lava, ash, clouds, and foliage add to the splendor of the ever-changing layers like a kaleidoscope.

  2. ometepe is, of course, a perfect subject for this challenge. it’s a very special isla, and one kould never grow tired of looking at those ever-changing layers.

    i returned home this afternoon so will be catching up over the weekend!

    thanks for all of your komments and patiense over these last three months… i’m using the claro usb and will be getting back w/you to see how to improve the signal.. no wok in the house but i have an wire whisk… (?)
